Large-scale testing is important in order to prevent further spread of the COV-19. however, the huge demand in testing throughout the world has put pressure on the laboratory supply chain and resulted in shortages of viral transport media (VTM). Therefore, this project was planned to assess the diagnostic performance of in-house produced viral transport media.
